'My 2 girl friends and I loved our stay on Little John Island. Close enough to Portland to pop in when we wanted, but lots of beautiful walking, swimming, and kayaking opportunities right in the backyard. Little John Island is truly a gem and we would love to come back!'

'This was our 5th visit to Boothbay as a family and our 2nd stay at this property. We absolutely love the central location, the house has everything you need, clean, and a/c units if needed. Oh and washer and dryer which is essesntial when traveling with kiddos in my opinion. I did notice some other mentioned the stairs to get up to the condo which didn’t bother us at all BUT could deter someone if stairs are a problem. We will be back!!! Thanks for hosting us!'

'First, this property was sooo clean! The beds were extremely comfortable and they even provided extra blankets in the closets! The kitchen has lots of amenities if you are staying awhile and cooking. The apartment gets great lighting, there’s no noisy neighbors and the heater is amazing! Love how close it is to downtown where everything is. We went to a local bar for dinner “the social goose” where the staff was friendly and food was amazing! Over all. 'Our stay was great. The space was exactly what it stated in the description. The only issue we had was with the water as it smelled horrible like eggs. We bought water to drink and cook with and our showers were very short using boiled water and sometimes we sucked it up and showered with smelly water. The owners were receptive and apologetic and gave us a partial refund. They were very nice. Location of the place was great. it was peace and other than the smelly water we truly enjoyed our stay....

'The studio apartment was as advertised .. so cute.. cozy and comfortable. VERY clean. Perfect for a couple. The view was very nice and there were outside chairs on the property to sit and enjoy! There was just a small microwave to cook in and a small refrigerator. ( setting might have been set too high) I would have found it beneficial to have an electric frying pan or an electric griddle to make eggs or stir-fry veggies .
