'Well appointed & comfortable tiny characterful old property. Not much spare room & very steep stairs.'

'Nice and spacious for the 6 of us - may feel cramped if full. 3 very good en-suites but a slight problem for bedroom 4 as no easy bathroom access. Wi-Fi good. Would be even better with full TV service and one or two more cooking utensils eg for microwave. May well stay here again'

'The room was very dirty and dusty with stains on the bedsheets. There was no instructions to bring your own towels online and then no information sheets in the rooms. I rung the number for help and she was very condescending saying that there was an information sheet in my room that would “answer all my questions” despite her supposedly being there if we needed any help and there was infact NO information sheet in our room. The shower drain was also leaking so we had to use our towels to soak it...

'The cottage is in need of a deep clean. The bed around the mattress was filthy with dust, hair and cobwebs underneath. The same behind the bedside cabinets. The vinyl sofa in the lounge smelt like a regiment of overweight sweaty men had spent a few summers sitting on it and gently marinating the vinyl until it stunk of stale sweat. We had to disinfect the entire thing with spray. It still smelt bad afterwards. One for the local tip I would suggest. '
