'Excellent location. Friendly employees great customer service. Have stayed here many times will definitely stay again. But bed was lumpy and uneven... felt like sleeping on cliff. Hot pillows. Lights in bathroom very dim and shower light randomly cut off. Only leaving as constructive criticism for potential updates. Definitely a wonderful hotel'

'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'

'The area surrounding the hotel was busy with construction work but the interior of my room was very well insulated so the noise was not a problem. Its in a great location for walking to all hot spots including Bourbon Street, Ceasar Palace , Food, and other attractions. The a.m. desk clerk (cant remember her name( was great and ver attentive. Great custmer service. The rooms were putdated and not as clean as i like but i bring my own disinfectant wipes to wipe down everything. Other than that...
