'Enjoyed my stay at the French quarter suites. It was weird at first because it looked abandoned and communication was through text message. However once I got inside there was a front desk and someone to great us. The room was just like the pictures and very clean. Enjoyed the pool and the location was perfect to walk to all the local bars and clubs in the area. Overall I would come back to the French quarter suites and the area was quiet with a great chicken spot next door.'

'Huge wow factor when you come in. It’s a recently converted 130 year old school with high ceilings and beautiful rooms. Fully outfitted to cook your own meals. A three minute walk to the Canal Streetcar. Came with a family of four. Gated for additional safety. Free parking onsite. Gym downstairs is two treadmills and a bunch of barbells and some benches - all you need. 100% would stay here any time we are in the city, especially if staying for a week or more.'

'Lokatie was heel goed. Parkeren uitstekend en personeel zeel vriendelijk. Keuze aan ontbijt wel erg beperkt en vrijwel iedere dag hetzelfde. Er is een binnenplaats waar in de avonden vaak herrie gemaakt wordt door andere gasten. Rond 23uur is deze herrie meestal wel afgelopen. Afwerking van de kamers is niet netjes.'

'Staff will make the difference, in the end. Despite some interesting 24/7 noise (running or leaking water), despite the double room with noisy connection to 2nd room (like being in the same room), we’d go there again. Its location, its overall offer including excellent breakfast, its beds and again its staff. Big cheers to our weeklong breakfast waitress Kaisey (go Honduras!), you made at least our wake-ups with your smile!'
