'Huge wow factor when you come in. It’s a recently converted 130 year old school with high ceilings and beautiful rooms. Fully outfitted to cook your own meals. A three minute walk to the Canal Streetcar. Came with a family of four. Gated for additional safety. Free parking onsite. Gym downstairs is two treadmills and a bunch of barbells and some benches - all you need. 100% would stay here any time we are in the city, especially if staying for a week or more.'

'This is an exceptional property. It is an oasis hidden in the middle of the French Quarter. After a long day of walking, it was such a treat to cool off in the pool. The complimentary drinks in the pool house were an extra treat. The rooms are beautiful and quiet with plush towels and crisp sheets. Thank you Shaun and Anthony for making our stay so wonderful. We will be returning. '

'It was a nice hotel, in the middel of french quarter. The only thing which is negative is that we had no hot water in the shower. We asked to solve it but at our day of leaving it was not solved. Lets put the fact that it was decandance weekend there was no repair men available……'

'We've been visiting New Orleans for Southern Decadence (Labor Day) for 25+ years.
We've stayed all over, stayed at favorites that had to close due to death or economy.
We had never heard of The Grenoble House. Somehow this year it fell into our search and we couldn't be more grateful.

'Great place for the entire family to enjoy New Orleans! Convenient, comfortable and a gem in the city. The enchanting courtyard in the center of the property allowed for sunbathing or swimming in the pool on hot days, and curling up with a book or card playing at a bar under a covered roof. 'The staff was very cordial, very helpful when I asked about getting a hairdresser nearby. The check in staff took the initiative to look for one online and I was able to get an appointment shortly afterwards. I would have liked for there to be a closer smoking section outside the hotel room. Would recommend for convenience. '

'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'
