"Het is een heerlijk hotel, met mooie kamers! Het klopt gewoon. Wel jammer dat het restaurant in de verbouwing was, was goed geweest omdat dat bij boeking te vermelden. Ze hadden overigens op een andere plaats in het hotel een restaurant en bar gemaakt."

"Op zich een prima hotel maar zowel het restaurant als de bar/cafetaria serveerden eten van een te lage kwaliteit voor een 4 sterrenhotel. Er lag rottend fruit bij het ontbijt en de rossted chicken bij het diner was niet te eten . De medewerker in de bar sprak geen woord Engels en had bovendien alleen maar aandacht voor de mensen op het Terras en niet voor de eters in de bar. "

"I enjoyed my stay at the Zenit Convento but must say some aspects of the hotel are sub par for a hotel in this price range. The rooms ar clean but very sober, which is in contrast with the beautiful lobby. There is one chair in the room and it is very uncomfortable. I received one bottle of water for my entire stay. I’ve been travelling for many years now and can’t recall a hotel that doesn’t give its guests one bottle a day. It’s all in the details. No detail was the breakfast service. I think there are better breakfast options to be found in the neighborhood. The staff at breakfast hardly speak any english, menu is in Spanish and no explanation of how things work is given. I heard one guest ordering a spicy omelet with lots of ingredients. The chef gave him a bottle of Tabasco and served a standard omelet. People were seated at tables that weren’t prepared. They went looking for glasses and cuttlery themselves. The manager of the breakfastroom didn’t seem to care and quite frankly, wasn’t very nice to guests either. A smile and ‘hello’ would go a long way."
