'My house got the house to celebrate my 66th birthday. He invited our daughter & her yorkie poodle, 2 of my best friends with their husbands. The guys went fishing but just spent time at the lake, the boaters were out in the water so it wasn’t a good time to fish from the docks.'

'Central location to event we were vendors with. GPS took me to the backside of house so it took me an extra trip around to find the driveway. Comfortable home. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the lovely deck, it looked very inviting. I did use the grill it was perfect for what I needed. We will consider staying for future events.'

'It is an amazing place, lovely and surrounded by nature, while you still are in a village. Every night we saw an Elk passing by and that was awesome. 'We love this place. We stayed on the same weekend last year, and decided to come back. This year, the weather was wonderful. We cooked at the cabin, played in the creek, and made s'mores in the fire pit. The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable, and seating in the living area is cozy. The location is superb...so close to downtown Cashiers but you feel you are isolated. We enjoyed viewing several waterfalls nearby. I highly recommend this property! We hope to return again!'

'My husband and I stayed at Steps away cottage with our friends who are also married. The online listing for the cottage is exactly what you get and more! This place exceeded our expectations. The decor is so adorable and feels like home. The cottage is stocked with everything you could possibly need for a vacation. The hot tub was so fun! We used it every night. We walked everywhere in Waynesville for meals and shoppes. We will definitely be rebooking if we ever get back to the area. Do not miss...

'This cabin was near what we wanted to do: visit Cherokee and hike in the mountains. It was also a great place to return to at the end of the day. The porch overlooking the river was spectacular. The cabin had a "woodsy" feel to it and was very quiet. The beds were comfortable. Clint was communicative as needed. We especially appreciate that he contacted us promptly when he discovered that we left a pair of glasses behind. He offered to send them to us and refused payment, event for postage.'
