'Uitstekend ontbijt met lekker en vers fruit! De kamers hebben alle voorzieningen, zijn wel aan de kleine kant want je kan je valies er niet in kwijt. Het bed is ook aan de kleine kant als je zelf thuis een groot bed hebt. Het matras in onze kamer is aan vervanging toe, het midden was een kuipje, slechte nacht dus.'

'Su the owner was very accommodating and was flexible on our arrival time. Helpful reception was efficient and even showed us to the room. Spacious, clean and had all the usual facilities. Had the evening meal which was tasty and filling. Price was compatible with other local establishments. There is also free wi fi and limited free parking. A big bonus is that it is only a five minute walk into the city centre. Very enjoyable stay.'

'Enjoyed my stay at the Menai hotel, my room was a good size and clean and comfortable too. The hotel breakfast was very good also. The hotel's location is in Upper Bangor and is not far from the railway station and near bus routes and not far from the town centre either. The limited interaction I had with hotel staff I can say that they were pleasant and helpful. Overall, definitely no complaints.'

'The property was run down and I wouldn’t have expected to pay over £100 a night for the stay. The front entrance wasn’t in use due to maintenance. Although very cute, the owners young children were in the public areas and their toys in the foyer. The hotel was close to the pier which we wanted to visit.'

'The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby....
