'The room was spacious and cozy. The place has great character. The updates done by Monica and Pat were done in great taste and without losing the integrity of the house. The floors were gorgeous and all rooms were lovely. The owners are very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and will tell others. We highly recommend. '

'Fantastic hosts. Separate apartment in the basement of family house. Beds excellent. Great shower. Hosts provided not only snacks but fresh eggs from their chickens! They have a super friendly dog, many chickens, ducks, goats, and alpacas. I got to feed and pet and brush them. If I'm ever near Charlottesville again I'll come back here for sure.'

'The B unit is enormous with huge rooms and plenty of space. The bedrooms don't have closets and the bathrooms are very small compared to the overall space. Neither bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The grounds are pleasant with several outdoor seating areas and huge decks. Other guests were easily overheard. Easy access for people with mobility challenges. Plenty of parking.'

'very nice and clean place. i would surely come back for another stay. our gps took us to a spot but no signs of the residence. we saw a road off to the left and decided to take it. it took us to the residence. would be helpful if there were a sign for the residence pointing in that direction. also, be sure to pull the door to you as you attempt to lock the door.'

'My dog loved the smells and just wanted to stand on the front patio and sniff as horses grazed nearby or looked back at her. The interior of the cottage was delightful, very clean with very comfy bed and full kitchen. I enjoyed walking around the property in dawn's early light and met several workers who were very friendly and ready to address a tree that had fallen across one of the trails. There are at least two wedding venues on the property which may give an idea of how scenic and beautiful...

'Our stay at the Shenandoah Crossing was wonderful! The setting was beautiful and the cabin was awesome! Very clean and modern with the rustic feel. All staff at the lodge were helpful and very nice! Our family enjoyed our stay very much! We’re already talking about making this a yearly trip! Thank you! The only thing I could suggest is to please list the incidental fee amount on the confirmation information. Other than that our trip was much more than we anticipated!!'

'Absolutely lovely estate! We thoroughly enjoyed waking up to the lush and manicured landscape, watching the sunrise from the veranda. The rocking chairs got a lot of use from us. The beds are extremely comfortable and pillows are nice and fluffy too. Daniel was the most pleasant and hospitable manager whom met all of our needs. He made sure our coffee and water was well stocked. If you’re looking for a retreat in southern charm fashion, look no further. We look forward to our next visit! Thanks!...
