'This is a pleasant property less than 45 minutes from Charlottesville that met our needs for an abbreviated stay away from the pricey weekend rates in the university city. The hotel lobby appeared freshly painted (yet spartan) and our third floor accessible suite was clean and inviting. We were greeted with a smile and exited with the same. It was better than we expected and to par based on the brand. '

'The food was great, the stall friendly and helpful. Dan is doing a great job with what he has to work with. The Inn is really a diamond in the rough. It is long in the tooth and needs a little updating and rehab. Paint is peeling from the walls. Weeds are growing between the bricks of the patio and walkways. Give Dan a handyman and a few bucks and the place could be a jewel...'

'Our stay at the Shenandoah Crossing was wonderful! The setting was beautiful and the cabin was awesome! Very clean and modern with the rustic feel. All staff at the lodge were helpful and very nice! Our family enjoyed our stay very much! We’re already talking about making this a yearly trip! Thank you! The only thing I could suggest is to please list the incidental fee amount on the confirmation information. Other than that our trip was much more than we anticipated!!'

'Everything was great with the exception of the check in process. Since this property is a timeshare, the owner is to book the rsvp under the travelers name. Checking in was a nightmare & the staff made it worse they urged me to leave because I was “scammed” after my family & I drove for hours to celebrate my fiancée’s birthday. I will say, when I contacted the host they were pretty quick to fix things and I was able to check in fine. The property is beautiful. Everything was great otherwise.'

'The B unit is enormous with huge rooms and plenty of space. The bedrooms don't have closets and the bathrooms are very small compared to the overall space. Neither bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The grounds are pleasant with several outdoor seating areas and huge decks. Other guests were easily overheard. Easy access for people with mobility challenges. Plenty of parking.'

'very nice and clean place. i would surely come back for another stay. our gps took us to a spot but no signs of the residence. we saw a road off to the left and decided to take it. it took us to the residence. would be helpful if there were a sign for the residence pointing in that direction. also, be sure to pull the door to you as you attempt to lock the door.'

'My wife and I stayed at the suite for a quick getaway to visit a few wineries and a restaurant or two before spending a couple hours on Skyline drive. This was exactly what we were looking for.
