My apartment has everything you need for your stay in Barcelona. Located in the cultural and chic neighborhood of Glòries, you have incredible transport links to the city center. The apartment is extremely comfortable and the lovely and huge terrace has incredible views of the city!
The Space:
Welcome to this lovely apartment in Glòries! Plenty of natural light and with all the amenities you may need, my apartment is the perfect location for your stay in Barcelona. With perfect transport links to the city center, you can not be better located. If you are looking for an authentic Catalan experience, while still being close to the bustling of Barcelona, then the Glòries neighborhood is the place for you.
After a day exploring Barcelona, there is nothing better than relaxing on the sofa and watching TV or reading a book. With chic decoration and plenty of natural light, you will enjoy every moment you spend here.
You also have a lovely dining room to enjoy special dinners with friends. You can use the space to work with your laptop. Space is huge and plenty of natural light.
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The Neighborhood:
The apartment is located just by Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, most often shortened to Glòries. It was first designed by Ildefons Cerdà to serve as the city centre in Barcelona's original urban plan due to its strategic location; bordering Eixample district and at the junction of three of the city's most important thoroughfares: Avinguda Diagonal, Avinguda Meridiana and Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes.
Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Glories (Line 1).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

We enjoyed our stay here. Excellent location close to amenities. The unit is a little more tired than the photos show. It does need some upkeep. It was clean but there was a bit a a smell from the bathroom area. It could do with some updating & interior paint job. The outdoor space is fabulous & a great space to lounge, have a drink & enjoy the Barcelona City view. Fair value tho. & communication with host was excellent.

A fabulous patio, great view of the city, close to lots of shops and restaurants, and easy walking distance to taxis and only a 15 minute walk to one of the largest attractions in the city. Clean, affordable and safe. bodega downstairs from the apartment with all the supplies you could need for snacks drinks, and plenty of water.

Perfect location
Our stay in Barcelona/Glories was perfect. The location of this unit was ideal. It was close to the beach and three blocks to the subway to downtown. We would definitely stay here again. The amenities were just what we were expecting.

Room with a View
This apartment was perfect for my trip to Barcelona. Check in was easy with clear instructions and any questions were answered very promptly. It was close to the metro and the antique market. The private terrace provided wonderful views of the city and was a great spot to relax after a day of exploring.

es war wirklich gut. Selbst an das Waschmittel für die Waschmaschine wurde gedacht.Eine Stütze des Bettes sollte renoviert werden. Ansonsten war wir wirklich sehr zufrieden.

My son and friends had a wonderful time in Barcelona. The place was clean, nice with air conditioning and nicely located. The only problem was that hot water was not working, but in summer that was not a big problem. Their bad they did not call to fix it. Something you need to check to make the place excellent.

Amazing Terrace
I stayed here for a whole month whilst working in Poblenou. The location was perfect, close to work but easy to get anywhere (including trains to Montserrat and Girona for weekend trips). Location is great with Glòries shops for groceries and everything. But the best part is the beautiful terrace that I spent many hours relaxing, eating and just enjoying the ambience of Barcelona.

Needs TLC but amazing rooftop patio
The overall stay for three adults was comfortable. There were updates and fixes that needed attention and a bad sewer smell a couple of times but believe that had to do with the building and not just our room. The most important part is the rooftop patio all to ourselves. So spacious and amazing views. The perfect place to unwind in the evening with a bottle of wine.

Super vue de la terrasse
Excellent séjour, appartement confortable, la terrasse WOW. Ascenseur jusqu'au 7e étage, escalier un étage pour le 8e. Cuisine bien équipé, lits confortables. Près des services, Condis, Carrefour et restaurants. Seule chose qui manquait c'est des linges et savon à vaisselles, surtout pour séjour de 7 jours. WIFI excellent.

Family trip
This apartment was great for our group of 3. It is just around the corner from the Metro station and was super convenient for getting around. (I recommend getting the Hola Barcelona travel card as that includes the Metro all the way to the airport)
If I could give the owner a 10 for ease of check in and communication, I would. He messaged us a few days in to see if we needed anything, and gave us some recommendations for some great restaurants!
I highly recommend this apartment and owner!

Gute Lage nahe U-Bahn, Museen und Clubs. Schöne Dachterrasse, diese ist aber wegen des Lärms der benachbarten Großbaustelle nur eingeschränkt nutzbar. Umfangreiche Ausstattung mit TV, WLAN, Waschmaschine. Nette Einrichtung, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Gute Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter.

A getaway in the Sun
I had an amazing stay at this location. It's close to the busses, rail, and tram station for easier access to public transportation. It's also close to the Westfield Glories shopping center. There's also a convenience store and grocery store on the ground floor of the property for easy food shopping.
I spent many hours on the private terrace enjoying the sun, breeze and view. Communication with the host was easy and pleasant. Wifi was of high speed. I would definitely book this place again.

Best spot for Metro-tram-bus and view
We visit a lot by walking and return back with metro-Tram-Bus. Large Market place area by 9 minutes walking. The kitchen is a bit missing equipment.no tray to hold dishes or to dry it. The response to any inquiry is really fast even if not all satisfied

Good for a temporary stay
The apartment was nearly everything as advertised. The check-in process is extremely easy. The vibe is comfortable. Nice light shining in everyday. The kitchen is very clean. You will have to buy basics like salt, butter or olive oil, coffee, tea. Some rentals have this, others don’t. The location is a 2 min walk from the metro. About a 10 min walk to a Westfield mall with lots of shopping and eating options. I recommend Honest Greens. Super fresh food and very affordable. The kitchen has a view of La Sagrada Familia. Nice dining room. Convenient and gives you what you need for a short stay.

Convenient and good value.
A spacious apartment with a nice large outdoor patio.Pros- Located near to the Metro and Tram stops, a few shops and bakeries nearby as well as a large Carrefour supermarket and Westfield shopping mall.Outdoor patio is a great place to get some sun and very spacious.Generally a quiet area (whenever building or roadworks aren't taking place, it's hard to avoid the noise of drilling in central Barcelona). Peaceful at night-time.Dining room available for rainy days.Regular contact from the host to make sure things were going smoothly.Cons - Very thin walls, so need to be aware you can't make much noise and at times you can hear the neighbours.Shower attachment was broken from the wall but still usable.The washing machine didn't seem to work, I reported this and the host offered to come and fix it as soon as possible, however it was the end of my trip so it wasn't necessary.Beds were comfortable, but the metal frames were lightweight and the entire bed would move if you sat on it or moved in your sleep.I would stay at this apartment again as it's great value and two mins walk to the metro station.

Great neighborhood and apartment
We loved the Sant Marti neighborhood and the apartment itself. The view from the patio was amazing!
The only negative to the experience was the strong sewage smell when we first entered the property. I saw this mentioned in other reviews. It was very hot and humid in BCN when we arrived and with the apartment having been closed up it was a really strong odor. We opened all the windows and sliding door to get a breeze going and it was better about 36 hours later.
Also, ceiling fans would be a wonderful addition to this property. I don't expect AC in Europe, but fans would have really helped with the warm temps and humidity!
However, I would definitely stay in this neighborhood and at this property again. The pros definitely outweighed the cons.

Needs repairs
The unit had broken light switches as well as a strong sewer odor coming from the bathroom. When it rained, water leaked in the hallway. The views are now compromised by new buildings next door and new building construction while looking at la Sagrada familia. The patio needs some upkeep as plants are un kept and over grown. Also many cigarette butts in the planters.
The space of the unit is accurate but needs some repairs and updating.

On the plus side, the huge rooftop terrasse with great views was formidable. The location, close to the metro, the tram and the enormous flea market was great too. The AC worked very well. The apartment was very clean. That being said, the terrasse plants were not maintained at all with dead and overgrown plants. The bathroom had no towel racks or hooks as well as no counter space or at least a shelve next to the sink. There was an awful sewer smell coming from the shower drain which was easily fixed by putting a plastic bag over the drain. The bag had to be removed for a shower but worked well for the smell. The apartment itself needs maintenance as paint was peeling and some things like the shower head fixture were broken. Also, there is noise from the elevator that you can hear from the bedroom at night every time it is used.
