The additional charges felt quite high — €10 for air conditioning and €10 for laundry — which we found excessive compared to other stays. In most places, these amenities are typically included in the overall price, so this stood out to us as something that could be improved by integrating it into the nightly rate.
Secondly, our interaction with the staff member who received us was not positive. She was not responsive to basic greetings and came across as discourteous. On multiple occasions, we said hello and were ignored. Additionally, one member of our group slipped while she was cleaning, and she did not check on him or acknowledge the situation, which felt unprofessional and concerning.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciate the host’s communication, which was always clear, prompt, and helpful. The apartment itself is very nice, comfortable, and has great potential. We also want to highlight that the kitchen and bathrooms were very clean, which we really valued.
That said, there are a few other areas that could be improved. Although the weather was cool and we didn’t need to use the air conditioning, sleeping was difficult due to street noise, especially during the Sant Jordi week, and there was also an unpleasant smell coming from outside.
We believe that improving staff attentiveness and hospitality would make a significant difference in the overall guest experience.
