KORTE INLEIDING
Dit moderne appartement in Barcelona is gevestigd in een architectonisch bekroond gebouw en heeft overal indrukwekkende details. Schuine ramen van plafond tot vloer, houten vloer en andere zachte designtexturen accentueren deze spectaculaire ruimte. Het is gezellig en gastvrij maar met een zeer hip, stedelijk randje.

Designliefhebbers en mensen die op zoek zijn naar dat moderne Barcelona-gevoel zullen het appartement geweldig vinden. Hoog comfort en de nabijheid van de Sagrada Familia zijn echter voor elk wat wils.

BUURT EN LOCATIE

Het appartement ligt in een gewilde, historische wijk. De Sagrada Familia-kathedraal, het bepalende monument van Barcelona, ligt letterlijk een paar straten verderop. De wijk Eixample Dreta is beroemd om zijn gebouwen met grote gevels met balkons en vol winkels, bars en restaurants.

In slechts een korte wandeling door deze prachtige straten komt u direct bij het centrum, de modieuze Passeig de Gracia, de Ramblas-boulevard, Plaza Catalunya en alle populaire bezienswaardigheden van Barcelona. Dichtstbijzijnde metrostation: Tetuan (L2, paarse lijn), Monumentaal (L2, paarse lijn), Girona (L4, gele lijn).

WOONKAMER

In de lichte en ruime open woonkamer is er 1 slaapbank, een gigantische vloerlamp, een moderne kast, een audiovisueel station en veel licht door de enorme zonnige ramen. Een eethoek bestaat uit een tafel en stoelen voor 5 personen.

BED EN BADKAMER

De slaapkamer heeft 1 design queensize bed, nachtkastjes, lampen en kastruimte. Een tweede slaapkamer heeft 2 eenpersoonsbedden, een ladekast en veel natuurlijk licht. In de woonkamer wordt de bank omgezet in 1 tweepersoonsbed.
De complete badkamer heeft een bad, douche, wastafel, bidet en toilet.

KEUKEN

Naast al het benodigde keukengerei beschikt de koele keuken ook over: Koelkast, vaatwasser, vriezer, magnetron, kookplaat en oven, broodrooster, mixer, fruitpers, waterkoker en koffiezetapparaat. De bar met barkrukken kijkt uit op de straat en is een extra ruimte om te dineren en een praatje te maken.

This apartment is nicely located in a quiet neighborhood, where the only sounds were the joyful children in the school playground below.Jose was a wonderful host, full of great information about the neighborhood and the city. The apartment had everything we needed, and the washing machine was a bonus. The kitchen is quite dated, but everything worked fine, and we were content to enjoy the area restaurants for our meals. I definitely recommend booking with Jose!

Apartment is very nice but a little too small for 4 people. Location is excellent, walking distance to everything, very convenient. Public parking recommend by the host, not too far, not too expensive. Host very accommodating, very friendly and nice. We had a great time.

Great experience from start to finish

Jose reached out before our stay with information on how to contact him and get to the apartment. When we arrived, he met us at the apartment and showed us the unit, which was exactly as expected. He told us where the grocery store was and offered restaurant and some excursion recomendations. He was always responsive and quickly rescued us when we managed to lock ourselves out of the unit. It was a perfect spot for our family of 4 in a great neighborhood. I would reccomment it!

Great property with access to the heart of Barcelona

We were very pleased with this property, well laid out and spacious for our family of four, with great access to key streets, parking, metro, bus and close proximity to important Barcelona attractions. Calm authentic family neighborhood convenient to everything with an excellent host

Jose was very communicative, his apartment was very well maintained with everything we needed, and the location was convenient to public transit. But most impactful for our family was experiencing a real neighborhood feel there. My children loved the view from the breakfast bar of the courtyard, there were walkable grocery stores and playgrounds, and we were able to slow down and relax some in this location. Jose gave us a great orientation to the area, and his place was perfect for a stay of a few days. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent accommodations in Barcelona

Two friends and I visited Barcelona for five days the last week of June 2023 and selected this apartment for our Vrbo stay, managed by Jose. The apartment is perfectly located on a quiet street in Eixample, steps away from many popular restaurants (Italian, Catalon, Korean to name a few. There are neighborhood supermarkets on every street and an ATM near the entrance to the apartment (I used it a lot). The aparment is extremely comfortable - we used the clothes washer, the dishwasher , the glassware - just about everything provided. Its clear that Jose has the comfort of his guests in mind when preparing the property for rent. Jose is a perfect manager and host. From the day of my arrival he met with us to show us around the apartment. He gave us local restaurant recommendations which we took. They were all excellent (hint: Parking Pizza is amazing) At the end of the trip Jose thoughtfully arranged to have a taxi cab meet us at the apartment so that we could make our 7:30 am flight back home. In closing, I enthusiastically recommend the apartment and Jose and I would stay again if I ever came back

Couldn’t be better. Lovely neighborhood close to everything. Clean, safe, relatively quiet. Everything you need within a short walk: grocery store, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants, metro. Jose super helpful host makes everything easy.

Wonderful location, excellent host

The flat is small but has a great layout, and is well equipped. It is very clean. The beds are comfortable, but I would recommend taking your own pillow because they were lumpy, probably from laundering. José met us at the flat and allowed us to drop off our luggage before checkin. He provided excellent suggestions for restaurants. He also came back at the end and arranged for a taxi to take us to the train. Thank you José!

We are situated on a quiet residential street that is a very good choice for a visit to Barcelona. Jose was very helpful in answering our many questions and sending us links that would help us plan our trip. He was waiting for us when we arrived early in the morning. He gave us a place to store our luggage until our apartment was cleaned and ready for us. He also showed us on a map how easy it was to get to the city centre (Plaza Catalunya/La Rambla). There is also a metro station very nearby and the metro is color-coded and quite easy to navigate. We have been walking everywhere. Nothing is more than 20-25 minutes away. There are cafes on almost every street. Obrador, a bakery/coffee shop is just a few steps away and a great place for a breakfast sandwich, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Americans will find the prices for food are really low here. There are also several both large and small supermarkets very close by. Carrefours is actually on our street. The apartment itself is comfortable, spacious and very clean. The large sliding glass windows are wonderful and let in lots of fresh air and light. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is adequate and the bathroom is modern with a good shower. There is nothing that we are missing. If there was, I am certain Jose would take care of it.

Great Place to stay in Barcelona

The accomodation was as advertised. Jose met us at the building and got us settled in. He suggested several things to do in Barcelona and advised on travel on the Metro. Had he not provided this information, we would have spent more on metro travel than necessary. By the way Metro is three blocks away -- very convenient. Sagrada Familia is about a ten minute walk. The location was perfect for us. The apartment as noted was clean and well maintained -- it even had a washing machine -- a real bonus as we had been travelling for 10 days. Lots of great places to dine within short walking distance. WE'D STAY IN JOSE'S APARTMENT AGAIN. Thanks Jose M & D
