  • The apartment is located in the city center, in the picturesque district of Sant Antoni market whose centenary will see from the balcony.

    The area is excellent for exploring the city. Due to its strategic location, you can go either walking or in the countless transportation (bus, metro, bike, etc) to places, neighborhoods and most emblematic monuments of the city.

    In just ten minutes walking, you will be in Las Ramblas, Plaza of Spain, the Passeig de Gracia, Rambla de Catalunya, Montjuic, Plaza Catalunya, the Gothic Quarter, the Raval, the gothic, or Maremagnum, among other examples.

    Taking the subway home at 50 meters you will find in just 15 minutes at the feet of the Holy Family.

    Definitely the best place to see the city.

A nice place with everything we needed

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment, it had everything we needed and the big market was right across the street. We only ate breakfast in as there were so many fabulous restaurants to try that were just a walk away. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Location near Metro

If you are interested in traveling by the Metro this is a convenient place. A couple blocks away and you access a great way to get around. Staying at this apartment gives you the feel of a residence in Barcelona. Much more fun than a hotel vacation.

This apartment could not have been better. The neighborhood was really nice--close to restaurants, markets, anything you could need. And while it is not large, it is clear that a lot of thought was put into the set up and design of the apartment. Wifi worked great. Aircon worked great.

Great stay!

We had a fantastic three day trip at Manuel’s place. It was very clean, comfortable, stylish, and in such a great area! The check in process had technical difficulties but Manuel was very responsive and resolved it immediately. The rest of our trip was perfect. Would recommend this place to any travelers.

A Barcelona Delight!’

We spent just over a week at the Wood House and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The apartment is well located, clean, functionally equipped, safe and fun. The bed is very comfortable and the balcony was ideal for people watching. The large market with food and clothes was just across the street. Manuel was extremely responsive - a great experience! Get ready for the kitchen and bathroom to bee small - but we adjusted quickly and easily.

Location was great! We loved the neighborhood. The elevator didn’t go to the 2nd floor and we had to walk up several stairs (normally would have been fine but had to carry a walker up and down). Look forward to visiting BCN again.

Great location in the middle of city! Restaurants and shops all around. Easy to walk to a lot of attractions. The room was very warm and cozy. The decoration just enhanced the feeling and experience of Barcelona. Only insight is the bathroom is a tad small, but overall we really liked the apartment.

Great location!

This is a small apartment in a wonderful neighborhood! If you would like to get away from the tourist areas and enjoy the local culture, this is the place to stay! Manuel, who manages the property, is very responsive. When we couldn't connect to the WIFI upon our arrival, he got back to us within 5 minutes with the new WIFI information. We are very happy with the property and the service we received.

Great location, great host, a few issues

This apartment is in a perfect location. The host was great as well. We do feel that we should not have been charged for an extra person given the loft is not really a functional space, this place best suited for 2 people. We also thought there we not enough linens and the washer did not work. Easy fixes for the host but overall a cool place.

We enjoyed our stay, super location, cute, clean apartment. Checking in was hard, complicated, got into building but code to get into the apt didn't work. Called vrbo at 1:30 am to get in and owner did answer and help. Once we were in and settled things were great but it was unnecessarily stress producing for weary travelers. Make sure to get owner phone number ahead of time if you rent this lovely apartment.

Joli petit appartement bien situé

Contact et process de check-in très faciles, via une appli que même mon téléphone vieillissant a su gérer. L'emplacement est pratique, assez central, à proximité de deux lignes de métro par lesquelles on accède rapidement à l'essentiel de la ville. Nombreux commerces à quelques minutes à pied. L'appartement est propre, bien équipé et a beaucoup de charme. C'est un peu petit pour un long séjour mais sur quelques jours c'est parfait. À déconseiller toutefois aux personnes âgées ou peu mobiles : comme indiqué sur l'annonce, l'un des lits est en mezzanine, accessible par une échelle. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour.
