'Amazing! We stayed here for two nights. Booked a room which we thought had a lovely view but we looked over on a few cars. We mentioned this and received an amazing room with view on the seaside. Rooms are large and the area is also lovely to stay for a couple days. We also rent bikes from the hotel, you can cycle all the way to other beaches.
The only bad thing was that our tap in the bathroom didn’t flush properly, so you couldn’t keep it open for over a few seconds but that might be a...

'We have been going to LA for many years. We have stayed at many hotels. The Shade was an excellent choice and will be our hotel in the future. Great staff and beautiful rooms overlooking the harbor. Great choice. '

'Very pleasant contact with hotel beforehand and during the stay. Nice looking artsy rooms, nice pool with hottub, i really enjoyed the stay a lot. That the parking is not included is weird. Almost Every guest has to have a car to get to the hotel and get around LA. '
