We had a balcony and the door had not been maintenanced so it came off the hinges frequently making it hard to shut the door. 'This spot is PERFECT if ya just wanna come to Ocean City for some sun and beach time on a budget. Read the reviews of this place so I knew what to expect. Staff is super friendly and helpful. 'The room was great, much more space than it looked from the pictures. AC was very cool and the view of the boardwalk was perfect. The kitchen was much bigger than we thought it would be with a full fridge, gas stove, can opener, coffee pot, microwave and the drawers and cabinets had all the utensils/cookware you need! 'Leo at the check in desk was very helpful and knowledgeable, unlike the other lady whose name I didn’t even catch. She was distracted and inattentive. The pool is not well maintained or usable because the water was stagnant and frothy! The equipment at the gym was squeaky and not well maintained. Why do guests have to pay $15/day for parking when the hotel stay is already so expensive? The breakfast was decent and sufficient for guests. House keeping staff was also helpful and kind.'

'I really wanted to give this hotel a glowing review. They have a great location, super easy access to the beach, good views, and a fantastic room layout that worked really well for us and our 2 little kids. We had two major issues. First, the internet and cell service is horrible. We could only use our phones on our balcony and none of the wifi services on the TV worked. Secondly, I complained 3 times about our neighbor constantly smoking on their balcony and I was brushed off and insulted....

'This property is very deceiving from the outside. The exterior is a bit weathered, but the room was exceptionally clean. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Location is ideal, only one block from the Boardwalk. If you are looking for a small, clean, and quiet place to stay in Ocean City, I highly recommend the Wellington. Just be aware that there are no elevators, so if stairs are an issue, request the first floor. Parking is on site and convenient. All in all a very nice hotel.'
