'The look and the old genuine feeling of the hotel is what makes it special. This really looks and feels like a modarnized old chinese Palace. The location is good with short walk for shopping and old Town. The hotel is comfortable, but compared to a new modern hotel it's less comfortable. The shower has low water pressure, and the toilet could hardly flush. But things worked.'

'Gracie Art Hotel was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay for my short visit to Beijing. It is located right on the edge of the 798 Art Zone which offers a lot, although it seemed like most attractions close pretty early and the lighting on the paths late at night is very dim. The staff was very helpful in checking me in and ordering cabs and finding late night food or drinks. Would recommend!'

'방이 넓고 PC도 있음. WIFI는 있는데 중국모든 호텔이 그렇듯이 빠르진 않음. 청소도 깔끔하고 보기보다 객실이 많음. 화장실이 청소가 잘되어있지만 곰팡이 냄새가 살짝 남. 문을 닫으면 됨.'

'Damp and moldy room, which made us leave after one night. The whole hotel, including corridors smelt the same, so se didn't even ask for room change. The hotel was "alright" otherwise. The price was 15% higher than advertised (booked), and since we didn't have local SIM, we were unable to call Ebookers (and we were too tired to make huge mess about it - 30 minutes trying to deal with Google translate was enough, they didn't talk english even a single word). 'The worst hotel I’ve ever been. The carpet of the room was filthy, the toilet was disgusting, there was pubic hairs in the shower. They just make the beds but not cleaning at all. We booked this hotel because it supposed to have free airport shuttle but they made us pay ¥100. Nobody speaks english. '
