'The bartender Eddie saved the day. He’s the pool bartender. The food nor the beach did it for us. We checked out 2 days earlier. Although it was nonrefundable we chose to leave and enjoy the city. The sea grass swarmed the beach. It was so smelly I couldn’t smell my perfume daily. For the price we paid the food wasn’t good at all. The best thing on the menu was the cheese burger. Didn’t receive a welcome drink or hot towel. Very disappointing '

'Beautiful complex. In the middle of town yet feels secluded. The place was designed to make you feel like in a tropical jungle. It is 5 degrees cooler than across the street from it!'

'The hotel staff were fantastic and the view was beautiful. It was quite a ways from San Pedro town which limited dining options for us. The staff booked us a reservation at Mambo with a driver or boat pickup depending on the weather. The breakfast was good but very few options for dinner at the onsite restaurant. If I could do it again, I would rent a golf cart in town for the duration of our stay and book tours that picked us up at the resort dock.'

Peaceful and quiet with the exception of one night the guests below us had a loud party with hired DJ with PA system. It was so loud we left for the evening. 'When you book on Expedia you are not treated the same as you book directly. Do not rebook spa services because if you want to cancel they don’t allow it. The security told me my mother and 16 year old daughter if we left the stray dog at the resort they would kill it so I loaded it onto golf cart and took to ferry. I did address with night manager and they said they wouldn’t kill the dog but who knows. Security walks around with a club and is very intimidating. The beach itself was murky...
