'De eigenaresse was inderdaad wat apart. Had een luide stem en kwam vreemd over. Was wel erg behulpzaam en deed onze was zonder daar iets voor te willen hebben! Later vertelde ze wat haar overkomen was. Een jaar of 5 geleden is haar echtgenoot overvallen, beroofd en neergestoken. Is daaraan overleden. Het hotel lijkt wel een fort. Maar is begrijpelijk na deze ervaringen. Neem de vrouw zoals ze is en geef haar complimentjes! De kamer was enorm, net een appartement, de douche was de eerste avond...

'I was a solo traveler and had an excellent time! The room was beautiful and I really appreciated the hammock in the screen porch and the shower view of the jungle! Staff was so friendly, lots to do but also beautiful venue to relax as well. Would recommend the healing nature walk with Elon to learn about native jungle plants used for medicinal and traditional healing!'

'What an amazing place! Villas are in a perfect location and very clean. Beach is well maintained even though sargassum was present during our stay, they worked very hard to keep it clean. Food and drinks were top notch. Easy bike ride to village or shuttle service each hour after certain times.'

'Wonderful stay! We will be returning hoping for the same experience. We stayed in a 2 bedroom beach view condo, located on the second floor overlooking the main/grand swimming pool. The condo was clean, the showers were hot and the AC was cold! Laundry service was complimentary so I left without having to think about when that chore would get done. The one constructive criticism that I have....there were mosquitoes in or condo. '

'Our stay at Abezza was fantastic and everything was amazing. We stayed for 3 nights, and Melanie was a great host. The food was delicious, and the Spa is world class. Highly recommend getting a mood mud massage. 10/10 would recommend staying here and I will definitely be booking another trip here in the future! '
