'The house was a very practical base for exploring the MD Eastern Shore. It is a comfortable house with an idyllic setting beside the water and with shade trees that do not obscure the view but do provide shade at the water’s edge. Plenty of windows from the kitchen/dining room, downstairs living room, and table tennis room open up the water views. The setting is relatively quiet, just a little background noise from a distant bridge, and we saw Great Blue Heron’s and Canadian Geese in the water....

'Onze kamer (3 hoog) had uitzicht op de baai, mooi dus. In de buurt zijn er genoeg restaurantjes om lekker te eten. Het ontbijt is niet inbegrepen, maar ach, genoeg mogelijkheden in de directe omgeving. Wel koffie of thee op de kamer. Het sfeertje van Kent Narrows is vrij uniek. Dit hotel gekozen omdat de kamer een balkon heeft en het verder van de snelweg af is dan de andere 2 hotels. Via de Bay bridge ben je na een half uur in Annapolis of rij je in 1 uur naar de buitenwijken van Washington DC....

'Lovely property and friendly attentive staff. Appreciated the text updates with info and reminders of service options. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and smore option in the evenings. The ruse restaurant was also fantastic, had dinner there our first evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. The unique drink and food options were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to St. Michaels!'

'Need signs/directions on eastbound Rte 301/50 for a bridge to cross over to access the hotel. We wandered around in a residential neighborhood for 10 minutes before finding the way to cross the highway. '

'Geweldig onderkomen. Prima ontbijt. Goede ligging voor uitstapjes naar oud Easton en St. Michiels.'
