'Cute apartment. Each room has mini splits so everyone was comfortable. Nice size kitchen, convenient combo washer/dryer. Everyone loved the heater in the bathroom and fancy shower. Host checked in several times to make sure we had everything we needed. No tv so it’s nice to disconnect though there is internet if you need it. '

The house was well stocked with all the necessities (toilet paper, towels, blankets, etc). 'The house was a very practical base for exploring the MD Eastern Shore. It is a comfortable house with an idyllic setting beside the water and with shade trees that do not obscure the view but do provide shade at the water’s edge. Plenty of windows from the kitchen/dining room, downstairs living room, and table tennis room open up the water views. The setting is relatively quiet, just a little background noise from a distant bridge, and we saw Great Blue Heron’s and Canadian Geese in the water....

'Beautiful, huge property with very clean and well-equipped home. We brought our kayaks and paddled in the river two days. The campground on the property is absolutely perfect for anyone wanting to camp by the river and just use the house for showering and air conditioning. 'Very much enjoyed our quick one-night stay here. It was nice that there was a bar where we could watch the football game and have a drink (great bartender!). Breakfast was better than other similar places on Kent Narrows with a beautiful marina view.'

'Overall, the hotel was clean. Our room was clean as well. The staff were polite and friendly. There was no fan/vent in our bathroom. Our room is right next to a bar. There was so much noise coming from the bar at night thus, making it difficult for us to sleep. The bed was very uncomfortable. The breakfast (ordered from the menu not buffet) was really good. If you stay at the Hilton in Kent Island, please avoid room 107 or asked for a discounted rate if you don't mind the noise'

'This is a generational, family owned and operated business. The owners were gracious, accommodative and welcoming. The property was vintage yet modern in conveniences which was fitting for an eastern shore historical town. There were lovely personal touches such as a welcoming bag with pamphlets, snacks and drinks. 'You can tell they really care about cleanliness and excellent, friendly customer service. Never got up early enough for breakfast but my Navy vet husband loved the 24hr coffee bar! Great location. Would definitely stay there again with no hesitation.'
