'Nice clean hotel right at a lake, staff was real nice. Rooms are clean and spacious. I would recommend it!'

'We have stayed at the Lockview a few times in the past which brought us back. The Lockview has changed over the years, adding small cabins, a new sign, and improved morning breakfast area. Unfortunately, we stayed on the second floor in the original motel. The curtains had multiple holes in them, the towel I used was ripped, the bathtub was horribly stained yellow and actually dirty looking. There are cleaning products to take care of that. With this said, we will not stay again.'

'This motel has no office or staff onsite, which at first may confuse guests, but they were very responsive when messaged online (to make sure they knew we were bringing a dog with us). The suite consists of one enormous room, with large, comfortable beds, two sofas (sofa beds), TV screen, a table for two, and a kitchen with full sized fridge, sink, coffee maker, two burners, microwave and toaster oven, well-enough equipped for cooking breakfast. 'We had stayed at this particular location multiple times in the past. I don’t know if we just got a smaller room this time or things have gone downhill more than I had initially thought. I did ask about the Owners because I know they did the cleaning themselves and maintained the property. However, I was told the property was sold two or three years ago…. I can’t remember to the new owners. Honestly, for the price, I could’ve stayed somewhere else that wasn’t as old, dark and dingy. The bathroom...

'Nothing unique about this place. It was next to a Best Western, both owned by same person/persons. Ours was worst of the two, right next to each other. Across large parking lot. We could use pool in better one and breakfast was in better one, but had to go over there to use it. Started out with toilet seat loose and had to have them tighten it, mount bolts were hard to reach. A small sink was plugged up, they got it unplugged when they fixed toilet seat. Found two roaches in bathroom on 2nd. to...

'When we got there to check in we had to holler for someone to help us. Nobody ever at the front desk if we had questions or needed anything. Needed help with the heater but no one around to ask. Had to call their number to talk to someone. Price was high for the lack of staff and overall.'

'Property was decent and comfortable. The layout worked and added separation for two sleeping areas. The decor gave off a modern vibe. There was a lack of attention to the details though, leaving things looking unfinished. For example, the ice maker didn't make ice and there wasn't an alternative ice tray to make ice, one of the electrical outlet in the kitchen didn't work, and other small things.'
