'Het hotel heeft een prachtige ligging en is van vroeger uit een herenhuis geweest. De stijl is ook grotendeels behouden gebleven. Het personeel is hartstikke vriendelijk. Jammer dat de kamers zo gedateerd zijn. Ontbijt en diner zijn prima. Dinerkaart mag wel wat worden uitgebreid. '

'We had a lovely stay, I’d booked last minute and wasn’t sure what to expect as we usually stick to premier inn hotels as my son has autism and doesn’t like anything different. This hotel was great, clean, comfortable, the heating was very efficient and the staff were brilliant. The lady who checked us in was very understanding of my son’s needs and she really did go out of her way to make us feel welcome,‘nothing was too much trouble. My son really enjoyed his stay and asked if we can stay again...

'Schone kamer, aardig personeel, goed ontbijt, voldoende parkeerplaatsen. Voor een tussenstop op reis zeer geschikt! Buitenwijk, geen bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand.'

'This hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Chesterfield near shops, the Market, restaurants and pubs. All members of staff are friendly, helpful and very pleasant. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the varied breakfast buffet with excellent coffee ‘on tap’ and dined in the simple but delicious in house restaurant nearly every night. They have a decent Happy Hour in their small bar too. We shall be returning to this hotel on our next visit to Chesterfield '

'Family of 18 , we were very well accommodated, enough sleeping space and great lounge area for family time and games. Glad we could teach pool to our cousins too and enjoyed the hottub and outdoor spaces for bbq and games. Many thanks to the host'

'Biggest positive was communication - helped us out massively with confusion over booking. Quick communication much appreciated. Regarding the property - It was a base for a night. Everything was on the budget side of things. Clean beds and towels. It just needed a thorough spring clean. Random cutlery pots and pans were all mish mash and needed cleaning before use. But was passable - for one night. No complaints. '

'This hotel was very clean and the bed was super comfortable! I had a really refreshing nights sleep. The breakfast was a highlight: fresh fruit prepared ready, soya milk and various yogurts, and well-cooked eggs etc. I would def return. '
