'We hebben met 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen (10 en 14) verbleven in dit hotel tijdens de meivakantie. Een familiekamer geboekt twee dagen voor vertrek en het hotel uitgekozen vanwege het aanwezige binnenzwembad. Zo konden we overdag leuke plaatsen in de buurt bezoeken en daarna konden de kinderen lekker zwemmen. Ook fijn met het oog op soms wat minder weer in Engeland. We hebben genoten! Het hotel is wat verouderd, maar dat geeft het juist haar charme, het binnenzwembad met sauna en stoombad waren...

'After changing our room we had an excellent stay. Please note that if you book two single beds and a walk-in shower, you will not stay in the old part of the hotel. That part dates from 1600 and is really beautiful with its history. Very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.'

'We were a party of three adults staying two nights so that we had an easy journey over the weekend to get to the Steam Rally at nearby Woodchurch. Excellent base as views from the room were great, the balcony just right to sit and watch the sunset, and the beds were comfortable. The only negative comment being the restaurant tables, which had a very sticky feel to them. The waitresses wiped them down thoroughly but it seems this affected the surface of the tables! However the food was excellent...
