'We had only booked for one night to go to family reunion. We will definitely consider returning. The space was very warm and welcoming. It is a great place if you have children (no matter what age) traveling with you. There are games and activities for all ages. There wasn't a kitchen so to speak but had all essential for breakfast and lunch, and a microwave to rehear a dinner. '

'One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out.'

'My wife and I stayed here for a week. It was near family and I had an online training class. The White Lotus was perfect for us. The grounds are beautiful, the host was very responsive and accommodating. We loved the Zen vibe and the amenities available, although we didn't use many of them this time. We will be back.'

'We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. '

'Super lovely and tranquil mountain getaway. Super quiet, stunning views, lovely and well equipped house, with a super nice morning coffee bar. Wildlife all around and in abundance. Saw up close every day, when driving up/down the mountain, deer, rabbits, foxes, chip monks, numerous species of birds and even caught a glimpse of a black bear. Highly recommend this mountain retreat. '

'We were rained-out of a long planned camping trip and, luckily, found this at the last minute. The Rococo room is beautiful and very clean, and the deck with BBQ is quite useful. It is spacious and bright. The grounds are fun to walk around. Seeing the different areas is really interesting. I especially liked the yacht floating in the pond. Overall this was a great stay! '

'What a beautiful place! The suite was large, luxurious, and charming and a great place to relax. The hosts were friendly and kind, and the grounds are extensive and lovely. A great place to walk and so many charming cottages and natural areas to enjoy. I loved the ponds with turtles, frogs, and other wildlife. We'd definitely stay there again!'

'Our young family throughly enjoyed our stay and I wish we had had more time to enjoy more of the property as we spent most of our days out with the friends that we were visiting. This place was perfect for our family of 4. Each room has a ceiling fan which is great for the hot July weather. And I greatly appreciated how well stocked everything was as I forgot shampoo for my children and there were two options for me to choose from which was so helpful. We will certainly stay here again. 'The Natchez in Ruckersville is equidistant from the Shenandoah National Park entrance at Swift Gap and Charlottesville. We spent time in both, in this well equipped, cozy cabin as our home base. And there are plenty of fine wineries nearby as well. Enjoyed our stay!'
