'This is a unique property. The house is beautiful, but it was a little difficult to tell what exactly we were getting from the listing. We wound up with a room with an en-suite bathroom, which I would definitely recommend, otherwise you may be sharing a bathroom with complete strangers. We stayed here as part of RAGBRAI, so it was completely full and folks were definitely having to share a bathroom and coordinate showers. 'We really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and watching the farm animals. The WRC fishing was a bit disappointing, but there was an area fishing derby the morning we arrived, so they might have been a bit timid. The house was very neat and felt very homey. The kitchen was nice, although there was a sign posted about not longer providing breakfast supplies starting in 2021. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will most likely come back in the future.'

'We were excited to stay at this property given our trip and reason we were in town.Upon arrival, most of the house was unclean. There was dust, bugs, and debris in most rooms. This includes in the beds and on the bedding for 2 of the beds.Two of the beds were absolutely rock hard and one fell through the frame.The layout of the house was interesting and fun, however it did not live up to the pictures in the listing.The property owner was extremely responsive and quick to respond to any questions...
