'We stayed in one of the cabins. It was very nice. We enjoyed sitting on rocking chairs in the screened in porch watching the sun go down over the lake. It was very peaceful and relaxing. '

'We had a great stay at the Balsam Inn! Everyone put their hearts into giving folks a great experience. My husband says the dinner was the finest he ever had, and I appreciated all the little things that made our travel easier (ice for coolers, a shared frig, absolutely lovely and plentiful bedding). We would definitely stay there again!'

'As cheap and plain as it could be. How to check in at a sister motel over a mile away, but was not notified until a day after arrival. Had to ask neighbors where the office was. Looks like it has been closed up for years. Barely worth half of what we paid.'
