'We stayed in the Saltwood suite. At entry it was a slight shock, as a few big stains in the carpet welcomed us. But after that, all off the room was perfect. Bed, bathroom shower. All very good. Had diner at the restaurant. Sadly there is no outside sea view, but the food was perfect.
Had a great stay, and would reccommend.'

' Very friendly staff approachable and helpful nothing too much trouble.
Fantastic double room very light and spacious loved the amenities selection , very large en suite with a bath as well as shower. Lovely meal great good menu choices in a cozy setting next to the fire with a really good bar selection too.

'Staff could not be more helpful and were always happy & willing to talk to guests. Food in restaurant was exactly what I have come to expect from Shepherd Neame Hotels and Pubs. I had room on 1st floor with access to roof terrace which had an excellent view of Viking Bay and the Sea. I found room very quiet at night with only the sound of the sea to be heard in the background. '
