'Excellent hotel in unbelievable location. Wonderful spacious room with balcony view over the sea. Outstanding breakfast. Fabulous service from reception, concierge, valet. Lovely swimming across the road. Two more critical footnotes. First, the hotel's restaurant across the road served a poor dinner - heavily salted food, no bottled water given. Second, the hotel's bar kept very loud music going into the night.'

'The architecture was representative of old Lebanese mountain resort. The one differentiator was the delicious food and the amazing customer service, led by the hotel manager Fayez. It is a quiet place to unwind with the occasional sounds of children laughing and playing in the courtyard. The night was peaceful with sounds from the valley below of frogs. It was a magical experience for me.'
