'We enjoyed our time at this hotel very much. We appreciate the hospitality of all the personnel, the facilities in and outside the room, great breakfast lounge, food and breakfast crew, and the comfort throughout the hotel gave us a home worth feeling from start of our stay until the end.

'Upon arrival, I was told that I had received an “upgrade” because my originally booked room did not have a pool view. Unfortunately, this so-called upgrade quickly turned into a major disappointment.
When I entered the room, I was shocked by its condition. There was an extremely strong smell of cigarette smoke, the bed linen was dirty, and the entire room looked worn out and poorly maintained. Even the wardrobe looked like it should have been thrown away a long time ago.

'Although superbly located just off Hamra street, the hotel itself is really nice and quiet. While I was staying (June 2014), they were redocorating the fourth floor and my room also looked like it was recently refurbished. Staff is polite and friendly, although not very talkative. Breakfast is ok, although they don't serve coffee with it (unless you ask for it). My room had reasonably good Wifi.
