'We stayed at Highlander Mountain House for our 5-year wedding anniversary and overall the property itself is beautiful. The rooms were clean, the design and atmosphere are amazing, and the location is one of our favorites in Highlands. We also loved The Ruffed Grouse and the overall experience of the hotel. The only downside was the noise situation during our stay. The hotel was fully booked with a wedding party, and unfortunately the guests in the room next to us were extremely loud both...

'This property is well located. Outskirts of town but still walkable. Nice coffee shop on site. Staff is friendly. Our room was small but nice and clean. Very comfortable king bed! The place has a 1970’s kind of vibe. Older property but rooms have been nicely restored on the inside. Cozy lobby with fireplace and outdoor firepits. Fun experience! Reasonably priced.'

'Everything a bed and breakfast should be- charming host, comfortable room, yummy breakfast! Plus screened in porches for reading or games. It’s an old house with modern conveniences and has a great story. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay.'

'De locatie was in orde, maar daar is alles mee gezegd. Het is een goedkoop motel, dus verwacht geen 5 sterren behandeling. Helaas had dit motel de basis ook niet op orde. Alles was vies en de kamer die we kregen was niet in orde. We misten kussens, die kregen we extra nadat we daar om vroegen.het bed zat vol.met vlwkken, evenals een van de hoofdkussens. De vloer was erg vies en we vonden overal haren. We hebben het motel hierop geattendeerd en ze gaven ons de mogelijkheid om een andere kamer...

Negatives: Light switches not working Tv was broken Wifi didn't work Bathroom was full of mold and ants I could not stand under the shower because the shower head was so low. Breakfast didn't include bread Positives: Room was big Bed was good This place is not worth the amount of money you have to pay.'

'The cabin was larger than expected. I appreciated that dogs were allowed. Communication was excellent.We were pretty chilly as the electric fireplace and wall heater weren’t able to keep up with the cold. We were concerned about the wall heater so we didn’t leave it on when we left or were sleeping. Pillows could need an upgrade but the bed was comfy. Would love to comeBack in warmer weather.'
