'Everything was fine there. We stayed two nights. However, it was disappointing that during our stay they didnot clean the rooms, do the beds or provide clean towels.'

'The pictures are not the type of room you will book. The room is more like a summer camp feeling room. You have to climb crooked steps and the couch is old like it's been there forever. The room itself was also crooked on the floor. Super bait with the pictures and switch to a crappy room. I would normally expect to pay 70.00 a night for the quality of this room, not 300.00!! On the plus side, the manager did switch us to a slightly more up to date room, still nothing like pictured, but better...

'They seem to primarily cater to group tours and don't seem to care about the needs of independent travelers. They couldn't offer late check-out, not even for half an hour. The hairdryer in the room had bits of hair from previous guests, which was disgusting. There was no kettle available for borrowing, and the lobby had no hot coffee, no hot water, and no cold water. 'The place was so clean you could eat off the floor. The guests realized this and kept it clean and 2 cleaners came in everyday. There was a great kitchen and common area and everything was so organized. I wish my own home was such. Jim'

'The Fairview Inn is conveniently located in town. It is not a place to expect to get a good nights sleep due to the bar below. I knew it was above a bar, however I did not expect a band playing so loud that the room was vibrating. The other issue is that there is no door at the bottom of the steps or at the top which did not seem very secure with access to the bar right there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. 'De kamer was heel erg ruim en de badkamer was prima. De eigenaren waren heel erg vriendelijk en leuk om een praatje mee te maken. Het hotel ligt midden in het dorpje bij de ingang van Denali National Park, zodat je vroeg op pad kunt. Ook zijn er heel veel restaurants en winkeltjes op loopafstand. Er is een grote RV-camping achter het hotel maar daar heb je geen last van.'
