'The hotel was built around 1923, so the layout is from back in the day and pretty interesting. I got the Bluebonnet Room, which is just that - a single small room. No toilet or shower, which are down the hall a few steps. Maybe the suites have those, I'm not sure. The room did have a sink, but the hot water faucet was not working. It also had a window heat/AC unit that worked well. The bed was comfortable. In the lobby there is a bar, pools tables, and slot machines. The crowd in the lobby at...

'Staff at check-in friendly, although process was slow. Room very nice, modern, and clean. Breakfast was bad. No one was working that area. Food was mostly gone. Counter areas and some tables dirty. It was like somebody had set everything out at 6:30 then went home. Disappointing. '

'Worst experience ever, this is not worthy of the name Best Western. I had booked 2 rooms for our group, but several insects were crawling in both rooms and a few were dead. Also the smell in the rooms was terrible. We had to cancel the rooms and still drove to a decent overnight stay in Austin. I then emailed the manager several times, but he was not cooperative at all. She kept pretending she didn't understand me via email and kept referring to Expedia. Conclusion: the hotel suits the manager....
