'This place is amazing! Could not be happier that we booked here. Emmett is a great host. Made the place feel like I was staying at a relatives place, not a bed and breakfast. River is a very short walk and easily accessible.'

'The property was beautiful with some very nice sitting areas. The pool was very nice & the room quite comfortable. The hostess Vanessa was welcoming & made a lovely breakfast each day with fresh coffee, baked goods & hot food. She went above & beyond to make our stay nice. We would definitely come again. There are some great restaurants in Gonzales as well. '

'We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed....

'This was such a unique find! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. We stayed in cabin 6 and had a great view of the creek. The pool at the sister hotel was perfect for our kids to jump in and cool off. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. The room was crisp and clean. The staff was so accommodating through text from the initial booking all the way through until checkout time. I highly recommend if you're looking for a weekend away in the hill country.'
