'Nice place with friendly staff'

'Historic and quaint inn and restaurant. Comfortable night's rest. Happy to stay, willing to come back.'

'We enjoyed our stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and orderly all the appliances like the coffee pot and toaster, microwave, and refrigerator were spotless. The cleaning crew obviously puts pride into their job. The lake is gorgeous and just a short walk from our room.'

'I reserved a NON SMOKING room and when I went to enter the room it smelled of weed! It made me nauseous. Asked if I could get another room and there weren't any. The attendant said it shouldn't smell like that, no one was in it. So we were stuck staying in a room because it was to late to find another hotel at that time, and that smelled and the toilet was so tiny only a small toddler could wiggle into it. Would've asked for a refund or even a partial but didn't know if I would've been told...

'I loved my room at this motel. I was able to park close to my door. The room was large, comfortable, very clean, and smelled fresh. I enjoyed the lake view. It is about a 10 minute drive to Cooperstown. And a 3 minute drive to an excellent brunch restaurant called Local Affairs. Although I did not utilize it, the arcade room was very cool. For budget travelers, this motel is exceptional.'

'The Inn was clean, but well occupied showing wear and tear on carpets and drapes. The shower was awesome. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a nice array of selections with friendly and accommodating personal supplying and re-supplying selections.'

'Sidewalks need repairs.Bathroom was tiny.'

'Being called the Baseball Hotel would make one think there would be something related to baseball on the premiiiNothing. The outside was a mess incuding the cheap sign they tacked up outside. Not a sioulsis roun'

'It was a neat atmosphere, liked the railroad theme!!'

'Clean'

'Beautiful view from lodge itself.. grounds well groomed. Room ok. We were in dark room with ground view. Rug stained and no blankets in room. Booked through Expedia and despite one of 3 couples in the entire lodge, when we asked for a king bed we were told that there were none available. Also told by front desk personnel that a third party booking will put you in less desired rooms. ? Like really? We stayed 2 nights and booked it weeks ago. Maybe not worth the price for two nights during the...
