'Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. 'This is a great cabin! Beds were comfortable, it was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our visit and wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to be back and will stay here again. '

'A hidden gem, so peaceful, beautiful… The hostess was so kind and made our stay lovely with her homemade cinnamon rolls. There are friendly animals to feed and enjoy, as well as a beautifully decorated property that shows the love that has been put into it. The chapel is perfection and a great spot to meditate. Highly recommend, as this place is so comfortable and calming. '

'Desi’s Hideaway was the highlight of our vacation. We had several incidents throughout the weekend, the only light at the end of the tunnel was returning to our home away from home. Then to top it off, our hosts took time out of their day to aid our family members, that were not even guests of theirs. My wife’s family reunion in in Camp Wood, so there were uncles and cousins everywhere. They got two trucks stuck by the river and our hosts were awesome enough to help get them unstuck and get...

'Quick boys trip to float the river. Location was convenient to Happy Hollow for launch and cabin was comfortable, easily accessible and just what we needed. Firepit was great for smores each night. Great communication throughout the booking and stay process.'
