'I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this hotel. If you value yourself, I strongly advise against booking a stay here, particularly for people of color. I had to reserve two nights to take some nice photos for my birthday, which was stated in my initial agreement during the booking process. However, no one mentioned any restrictions until I began taking pictures. Both the managers and the receptionist approached us, insisting that we stop or they would call the police. 'I will say that once upon a time this would have been a lovely property. It is just ok now.
Our bathroom was dirty. There was a dirty handprint on the wall of the bathroom that was fairly gross.
You get hit by a $50 resort fee, which I dont understand. They offer you two free rum punches and I suppose that makes it a resort.
Westerly Beach is beautiful and the setting is great. I can't say any other of the hotels looked much better but this place couod use some TLC.'

'We have a very high energy 8 year old boy. The staff thought the resort, more so at the front desk where so great with him. They talked with him and enjoyed his daily stories about what we did while out exploring. The staff will have us coming back for sure, they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, they were very helpful when we were looking for places to go and explore. Highly recommend based on staffing alone!
