'The hotel is in a great location for walking old Sacramento. That was the high point. It’s literally right off the highway. The highway is loud from the location, if you’re bothered by noise. They have breakfast, but it’s coffee, a few muffins and bagels only. The property is being renovated, they started work on that very early in the morning. If you’re looking for a no frills easy place to stay while exploring the city, this is the place.'

'Upon arrival there was a huge wedding party at the entry blocking all foot and veh traffic. It's already valet only. I got checked into a room DIRECTLY under the rooftop bar where the wedding was. She never even told me about the wedding or details or noise advisory. I get to my room and there's a rave going on with crazy amplified sound. I eventually get moved to then learn the entire rooftop bar is closed and no access. Oh and also they are closed until Wednesday. No pool, no comfortable...

'Interesting location, on the former air base of McClellan. Area is well maintained and looks beautiful with the flowers. Room was ok, cleanliness could be better and the facilities are outdated. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing, scrambled eggs were disgusting, and the rest was very basic.'

'We called to have sheets changed a few minutes after we arrived because we found a dried stain. Shower had hairs in the corners as well. Other than that everything was ok. Staff was great, fitness center was great & clean. '

'I believe this hotel was a gem back in the day. It appeared run down, especially the exterior pool area. Second floor ice machine didn’t work, spa jets worked on and off, and out of service public restrooms. '
