'This property was even more beautiful in person. It was meticulously maintained and perfectly located down an isolated dirt road with other cabins nearby. The walks on the beach and bonfire under the stars were incredible, as was kayaking on the lake. It is relatively centrally located, close to good public beaches on both Great and small lakes, and while you do have to drive to get places - it's the UP - the drives are beautiful and its a great home base for day trips; we went to Pictures...

'This was a last minute weekend in Oct stay! I am so glad we found EXPLORE and they had availability!! We stayed in a studio cabin. We did not use any of the provided appliances so I cannot comment on those.
Place was clean! Comfortable! Shower was perfect after a long day or two of hikes!
There are a couple of trails on property which came in handy after our long drive up first day ! Will stay here again !!!!'

'For the price this place can't be beat! You get everything you could need for your stay in a great location. The house is the last one on a dead end so no traffic with a great view of the river. Only thing we were bummed about was that the sauna wasn't available, but that was a small thing for the great value you get staying here. Hoping to come back next year. Cindy is a very responsive host! Thank you! '

'Wonderfully quiet retreat to recharge and enjoy the water! Kitchen was well stocked if you are a fan of cooking, and everything was not just pretty but comfortable to use/sit on/relax. Would definitely stay again!'

'Yes, kitchen was well equipped and had a totally fenced in back yard so it was very pet friendly. Nice location. Right across the road from a little gas station/grocery store, 2 blocks to the lake, and close to the trails. Would stay there again!'
