'You can’t use the property as the bugs are too much. It says that there is a fire pit, but you are asked not to use it. Oor fridge died the first night and was replaced within 24 hours. Great communication with the owner. Some spices were empty. The decor was nice, but the furniture was not very comfortable and some pieces were in need of repair. Water stains in the bathroom. Lots of towels.'

'From the moment we walked into this home, we felt at ease and relaxed. Possibly it's the wood interior that feels like a warm hug. The property is as pictured in the listing. The trees have grown in a bit, but there is still a lovely view. Everything is in working order. Having a dishwasher as well as a washer and dryer was so convenient. It is very private, which we enjoyed. The only company we had were 2 rabbits who visited every day.'

'Booked this site for my daughters Grade 12 graduation gift since she loves swimming and a quiet cottage.Everything was just as advertised. Scenery is just breathtaking. Relaxing for swimmers and non swimmers. Kayaks, water boards and row boat were available to use from a very accessible dock and small rock beach. The town of Shelburne is a short distance away (just over 20mins) for groceries and quite a few eat in restaurants. Wifi was good and plenty of board games to play. The heat pump was...

'Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff members were helpful and friendly. We arrived after hours with a self check-in. The snacks and bottled water in our room were a nice touch. Our room was located on the third floor and there is no elevator. This was not an issue for us, but it could be for others. Pastries and coffee for purchase at the onsite restaurant were delicious.'

'Nice hotel in the oldest part of Shelburne directly on the bay. Shops and restaurants at walkable distance. Newly updated ,very spacious room and friendly reception. Free coffee available outside our room. Walls are rather thin but no real problem during our stay.'

'This property is old and does not appear to be properly maintained. Newer shower with modern shower head, but mold in the bottom where the wall meets the floor. Handel to the sliding shower door is falling off. Only one very uncomfortable vinyl covered kitchen chair in the room. If you want to hang clothes, the rod is above one of the night stands and interferes with the table lamp. Exterior door filthy inside the room - hasn’t been wiped clean in a long time. Wifi intermittent at best, no...

'Just a wonderful little town. We (4 of us) traveled to 4 Canadian provinces and we loved each one. Shelburne pace was just what we needed before coming home via the Ferry. It was so nice to settle in to this charming home. We were so happy to relax in such a nice space. Terrific communication with Dave! Thanks for everything…we’d love to return someday:)'
