Kies je hotel in Shimotakai-district

'What a fantastic place to stay. Convenient location from the train station And easy acces to snowmonkey parc. The food was amazing And the service level as well. They have an amazing bar on the roof. You sit with -15 in heated plastic iglo tents zipping from your drinks. The onsen Spa is big on the upperfloor overlooking Yudanaka And the mountains. The Room is huge. So wonderful stay And highly recommended.'

'I enjoyed the dinner meal even though I made a rookie hot pot mistake.'

'Our stay here was amazing. The onsens were relaxing and beautiful, but the staff is what made our stay one of our favorite places while in Japan. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home.'

'I absolutely loved Shibu Hotel! The staff went out of their way to help me at every opportunity, the food was incredible, and the location made exploring Shibu Onsen so easy. I can't recommend it enough! Staff: Before I arrived, they actually contacted ME about a pickup outside their posted pickup hours. I hadn't even asked because I assumed it wasn't an option! They checked the weather for me, and someone even ran after me with an umbrella when it started raining. I was traveling alone, and...

'Staff takes time for his, her guests'

'Absolutely loved our stay here! The buffet breakfast and dinner included were great and provided a vast range of Japanese, Western and Italian options. The staff went above and beyond to welcome us and our ten month old baby. The rooms were well maintained and spacious for Japan. Gorgeous location, but remember that it is quite a distance away (at least 20 mins by car if not further) from restaurants (for dinner, there are a few lunch options closer)/convenience stores, etc.'

'Safe and clean. Very convenient.'

'While this is an older hotel, it is clean, things are in working order, and rather charming and unique. For example, I had a large room with a small patio that offered a beautiful view of the city. It’s in a quaint quiet town with gorgeous views of the mountains surrounding the town. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of hot green tea. The thermos amazingly kept the water hot even till the next morning. Because I went during « low » season in May, I was able to enjoy the onsen to myself ! The...

'We enjoyed the hot spring bath in our unit.'

'A beautiful full-service experience that exceeded our expectations. The included dinners and breakfasts not only tasted good, but also taught us about Japanese culture and customs. Thank you to all staff for providing the experience.'

'Had a lovely experience at this Ryokan. Great experience. Great food. Great staff. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time here.'
