'Yes it’s an old property but the front desk was fantastic! Super nice people, incredibly attentive - this is what makes this place. Low cost, rooms were clean and you can’t beat the nice people who work here. Super easy check-in especially with our dog in-tow. Even the guests were nice. Easy to drive right up to the doors ,front or back, and unload. There is an excellent little diner for breakfast right up the block as well. I’d stay here again - if you’re looking for a totally renovated...

'The location is beautiful, and the owners have kept their up the motel feeling of the place with style. The rooms were carefully and thoughtfully furnished, and we enjoyed our little, private screened in porch. We just loved it!'

'Although we were at Paddler’s Rest briefly, we would return again to enjoy all of the amenities. The private sandy beach, indoor game room, and free use of kayaks and canoes were a huge bonus. The refrigerator in the motel room was sizable. The staff were welcoming and quick to give us dining suggestions.'
