'Very good hotel, well located near the town centre. The room was good, spacious and dog friendly. Hotel staff were very helpful and we really enjoyed our weekend stay. We will definitely be back.'

'Overall, the hotel is quite nice. Unfortunately, it’s challenging to contact the front desk from the rooms and we had to request three times to get a second set of towels for the two of us. The air conditioning wasn’t turned on so the room was quite stuffy as the windows do not open. The location was superb, the staff friendly, and the room was comfortable. Overall, a nice experience.'

'Zeer goed middelgroot country hotel. Hotel is mooi gerenoveerd. Ontbijt is zeer goed. Zeer ruime keus. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk.

'Nice hotel, a lot of accommodation but a bit chaotic '

'Beautiful location, great atmosphere, lovely Salons, delicious food, and overall refined design-concept! The only downer: currently construction site, that disturbes the peaceful harmony.'

'Unfair because in a heatwave- but NO AC!!'

'On arrival, we didnt realise there was an older wing and a newer wing. We were in the older wing and the lifts do not go up to the 2nd floor in the older part of the hotel where our room was located and so we had to carry our luggage upstairs to our rooms. The walk was very higgly piggly and I did some damage to my back carrying the suitcases upstairs. As a senior, it would have been nice if help was provided with our luggage. When we checked out we asked for someone to take our luggage...

'Dumbleton Hall has undergone a huge multi-million pound refurbishment, and it shows. The finish combines beautiful finishes, sumptuous fabrics and age-worn character features which have been tastefully restored. The staff were all extremely polite and attentive, with the exception of one evening when we were left waiting to order drinks. The drinks were delivered and by way of an apology they were on the house. Things happen in any business but I do feel it's how these things are handled which...
