'I had a last minute family emergency and needed a place to stay, quick! This Caroga Lake location was available and it worked out wonderfully. The location was great and the size was perfect. Communication with the host was wonderful. I accidentally locked myself out (whoops 😂) and the issue was resolved within a reasonable time. Would definitely stay here again'

'I booked this cabin fri-Sun as a meet up with some friends I don’t get to see much. Unfortunately I had mechanical problems on the way and didn’t arrive until 5am sat morning. The beds are nice and the mini splits kept it comfy inside. Saturday afternoon we walked around the neighborhood and Saturday evening we hiked up to Kane firetower'

'House was in a nice area as we traveled to NY to attend a family wedding. Much better than renting hotel rooms. Would rent again if needed.'

'The best and cleanest place we have stayed in by far here in Caroga !!! The location was perfect and the private beach was amazing. We were there for the 4th and the front row fireworks were stunning ! Hope to stay there again !!'

'I hate even saying what a wonderful stay it was because then my secret will be out. The host was accommodating and easy to talk to. The house is in a wondeful location, beautifully decorated with little thoughtful touches throughout. Better than the pictures and you really did feel like you were coming home! 'Our Son has a Camp on Canada Lake and just loves this area - his camp was full with the grooms men and the brides mades rented Pine Lake Lodge which was also the venue we rented a huge tent and had a great caterer - 200 people - your HOME was wonderful I had my 80 year old parents, my other daughter and her fiance and another daugther in the house and we couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to stay. The accomdations were wonderful, the house was greatly appointed and we wanted for nothing...

'The hospitality of the staff especially Ginny the owner of this fine establishment was very helpful and were great to chat with regarding the region of the Adirondacks. Let me not forget to mention the rooms are cozy, impeccable and lovely decorated by Ginny who is true artist. I do plan on visiting this area of the Adirondacks again and the Balsams will be base camp when exploring this beautiful area. '
