'A very comfortable cabin. Excellent base for Adirondack hiking and exploring. Multiple kayaks and a canoe are available for lake paddles. Kayak entry from water easier than from dock. Very well equipped kitchen and a Weber charcoal grill. We brought guide books and maps. Being unconnected from internet or cell coverage was OK but Wifi would have been useful to compare hiking routes or local restaurants etc in more detail. 'The host is very responsive and thorough, easy to get ahold of. The property is beautiful with plenty of personal touches that make the place a “home away from home”. The property is clean, well tended, and well kept. The fenced in area for the dogs was the deciding factor for us and we were so happy with our decision. We found plenty of hiking trails within a short drive and loved taking the dogs to the local beach. Highly recommend staying here'

'The property needs a wee bit of a spruce up. The house is great for family--but it does need to be spruced up a bit. Dated with the curtains and peeling wall paper and stickers. The space it self is ideal. The outside does need a mow but it is the beginning of the season. The gazebo outside is a great feature---needs a little TLC. Perhaps we were the first renters of the season---it is a good place.'

'The girlfriend and I stayed for the weekend, even though it was a rainy weekend we got a lot of hiking in and were able to cuddle up on the couch in front of the fire place. Also loved the hot tub to soothe our sore muscles. Highly recommend this place and the owners'

'My husband, adult kids and I had a fantastic stay at Jonathan’s lake house. A little cool for much time in the lake but that didn’t stop us from other fun - Recommendations during your stay: Burlington bike path that goes out into the lake on a causeway, Church Street Marketplace - and if you are true nerds take a “Trek” to Ticonderoga for the Star Trek Original Series set tour - sounds weird - but if you know anything about the original series it’s a lot of fun and interesting. 'Wonderful getaway in the Adirondacks. Spotless & quiet. Check out Whiteface Mt. & Lake Placid or take a ferry to Burlington, if you want adventure beyond Ausable Chasm (which is awesome!). Thanks for a great time.'

'We enjoyed our time. Getting to sit on the back porch and play corn hole and listening to the waves crash into shore was amazing. It was very quiet and peaceful stay. Would defiantly let friends know to stay. '
