The house was also set far enough off the road to be very quiet and safe, and the driveway that went to the other house down the road was rarely used. The listing is accurate as far as it goes, but I think it should be made clearer before booking that the road leading to the property is VERY steep and narrow, having 4WD was helpful on the way out. And also the 2nd bedroom is only accessible from the deck, it's not directly connected to the main floor of the house. For people with children, that could be an important thing to know. I only...

'Nice farmhouse with a great view. We had 7 adults and 2 children and had plenty of room. Kitchen is big with an attached dining area. Front porch is nice to watch the sunrise or enjoy an evening beverage. The firepit is great (would recommend removing the tree blocking the view of the lake from the firepit). Best thing is the house was well stocked with all the paper products you need (minus kleenex), garbage bags, coffee, firewood, laundry needs and soap.'
