'The room itself was rather plain. More like a motel. But it is right on the lake and if the weather is nice you can walk out to the dock. Lovely location and super friendly and helpful staff.'

'Room was clean but there were items missing from the shower - no shampoo or body wash. As well, there was a fire drill at 5:00 am - the announcement was quite loud and exact. However there was no all clear announcement made. Someone on the staff went outside to tell the people waiting outside the lobby area that it was a false alarm. The rest of us had to figure things out for ourselves in the cold - and some people were in bedclothes and no shoes. Need a better emergency plan in place.'

'The hotel was convenient. You can tell it was an older hotel that was recently renovated. Overall a nice place and would stay again. Nothing super fancy and some of the room furniture could be replaced. The windows are in need of a good cleaning. The desk staff was wonderful both last night and this morning. Super friendly. The breakfast was good, basic but good. The parking lot has a few larger potholes and needs attention. Overall nice place and would stay again. Thank you!'

'So disappointing for our anniversary! The room was filthy, and it smelled like mold! We absolutely froze! We had turned the heat on, but still had to utilize the hot water from the shower, and the microwave in the room to warm it up! Definitely not worth what we paid!'

'We had a beautiful room with a wonderfully spacious and luxurious bathroom. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable and had fresh linens. Breakfast was good, although we would have liked to be able to choose an egg without having to pay extra. There is ample parking, and the hotel is beautifully situated. 'Room was interesting. Loved the spiral staircase down to the bathroom and the jacuzzi tub (stayed in the Music Room). Property is beautiful. You get a complimentary wine tasting and continental breakfast at Belhurst Castle. Check-in is at Belhurst which we didn't realize. Luckily it is only a few miles away so not a big deal to get there and back. No hotel staff at White Springs Manor. Negatives: Bathroom had no door.... was located in the lower level of the room (bed was upstairs) but still...
