'I had some idea that the hotel would be rundown, and boy it was. The first room I was given the key to had not been cleaned. The second room had at least been cleaned and made up, but you can tell that the owner/staff only do the bare minimum to keep this place open. When I went to check out in the morning, around 8:15am, the front door was still locked though hours say 7am. Tried to call twice, letting it ring for over a minute each time, but never got an answer. Had the same issue calling...

'Did not like the idea that it was called "the cottage", implying it was a cute quaint house in a nice area. It is in an industrial, factory area, that we could hear loudly all night. The neighborhood was sketchy with a bar next to it. Will not go back there.'

'This property was just lovely. We were there for a sisters' reunion. Two came from Michigan, one came from Australia, I came from North Carolina, and one sister lives in North Manchester. We all loved the house, the little niceties, the expansive yard with over sized fire pit. The host provided clear information and answered all communication rapidly. I highly recommend this property.'

'Very easy access to the town and all its charm. A very nice walking park and river trail is a two minute drive. The apartment is clean and very adequate. It served us well and fit our budget as an older couple.'

Really didn't need to pack anything but clothes, food and water. Loved the paddle boat. Solar assisted motor appreciated! Caught enough fish for 3 meals even though weather not very cooperative. 'This is a beautiful rental was comfortable seating and excellent views out into the pasture. The mature trees as you drive in beside the barn or thick and offer great shading.There are marked parking spaces on a pea gravel parking lot for 3 to 4 cars. It’s a circle drive so if you had a longer vehicle or aren’t the best at backing up, there’s an ample room to do so.
