The host was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond—when we realized we needed an extra night that wasn’t originally open, they made it possible for us to extend our stay. 'Mom & I LOVED this place! It was very clean. As others have noted, the ceilings are very low and the beds are firm - but neither was a problem for us. I actually don’t think photos do this place justice - it is so cute and we loved that it was decorated for the season. The owners obviously love this place and take great care of it. It is a 15 minute drive to town, but we loved the quiet and look forward to another visit!'

'Great place for a quick Blue Ridge mountain "fix". Property was quiet, felt private and had a nice view from the porch. A bonus for us was a visit from 2 black bears one evening at dusk. We enjoyed observing them forage near the woods (from the inside). '

'A very nice cabin that is private and secluded. Check in process was easy and the directions were very detailed and easy to find the cabin. Great communication with the owners. We loved sitting on the porch which had plenty of seating options. The hot tub was very nice and relaxing especially after riding the creeper trail. You will not be disappointed staying here. '

'It seemed like the planning and preparing for this cabin was done by a genius! The shrubs and greenery just to the east along the river to the next cabin we had full privacy and sitting on the porch watching and listening to the river was wonderful. We appreciate the instruction sheets. It helped us know exactly what we were to do and we don’t have one complaint. Thank you so very much.'
