'Definitely a older traditional hotel feel. Very old, classical rooms and atmosphere however a lot of charm. Lots of activity going on in the bar area and cafe/food places. Times were a little tricky as to who had food when but great service.'

'Property has had numerous owners, Strong smell of sewage on all floors. Walls in room need painted, draperies shows signs of neglect, bathroom floor needs replaced, tub unusable for bath, shower only. Wingate by Wyndham located in Vienna WV great place to stay, much cleaner 12.0 miles away'

'Loved everything about the Hackett! Stayed in the Riley Suite and it was gorgeous! Had everything my sister and i needed for a perfect getaway and great location. Ate at the Galley twice and awesome food and service. '

'Cleanliness was decent. Staff was respectful. Pet friendly room was decently located & needs met. The only concern was a location for dogs to relieve themselves...or lack thereof. Left without breakfast due to personal timing...so no food/breakfast review. No other amenities used. I'd return...purpose served without issues.'

'The staff was very friendly -- albeit, not present at the desk, but just a phone call away. The building itself was a bit ominous on the outside, and we were greeted by a parking lot fight. Still unsure who the man was screaming at because we didn't see or hear a secind person, but the angered man was definitely mad at someone. Once inside the room, it was actually nicer than expected. The bed was fairly comfortable, but every time I turned the springs in the mattress creeked. The bathroom door...
