'I have used the Cherry Valley Lodge, now the Cherry Valley hotel for several years. The hotel must be suffering from the lack of capital as the parking lot, sidewalks desperately need work, there are plants, weeds, or small trees, growing in some of the gutters at the top of the roof. I am told that food service is not that great. At one time the food was quite good. I had breakfast there three times and the food was filling and it was buffet style so I can’t really share much about the food....

'Don't be fooled by the early '90s decor, this is a lovely hotel where you're greeted with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie after a long journey, making you feel instantly welcome. The personal touch at DoubleTree is truly charming. While the room feels a bit outdated and the air conditioning/heating makes some odd noises that might keep you up at night, overall, it was a pleasant stay.'

'Ik heb in dit hotel verbleven omdat het in de omgeving van Thornville lag, waar dat weekend een festival plaats vond. Wifi werkte goed aan het hotel, minder goed op de kamer. Zeer ruime en nette kamers. Gevarieerd ontbijt.'

'The hotel lobby and rooms look just like the photos. Nicely designed for photography. However, it's poorly designed for actual people. If you're the type of person who enjoys sitting in a metal trash can while random people whack it with an aluminum bat, this is the place for you. The compliant fire doors on every room slam shut, no matter how hard you try to do it quietly. If a neighbor has a visitor that knocks on their door, you feel it in the floor or walls. You can hear conversations...

'The lightbulbs are low wattage. Bring some of your own to make seeing easier. also bring your own soap and shampoo / there are 3 pump bottles attached to the shower wall , who knows what they have gone thru. would have liked a recliner chair in the room instead of an odd shaped chair. room was clean / plenty of hot water and the ice machine worked well. Room was quiet.'
